DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING UPS GROUND.  Ground shipments cost us DUTY AND GST TAXES  to accept and you will be rebilled for them.  You can  ship UPS Air, but the post office is the cheapest method.

USING UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE:  SHIP ALL RETURNS PRIORITY MAIL.  This will take 4 to 6 days.

DO NOT USE STANDARD OR NON-PRIORITY MAIL.  This will take 4 to 6 weeks and you only have 30 days to avoid a core charge. If you do make this mistake, just call us.

 YOU MUST INSURE YOU PACKAGE.  Insuring your package will give you a tracking number in the event of a lost shipment.  Insure your package for $20. – now we can track the package back to us.

You have to write Automotive Computer: Temporary Import for Repairs in the Detailed Description of Contents (1) box.  VALUE:  The value in box (5) is $20 for each core.  One core $20, Two cores $40, etc…

We have to pay a Goods and Services Tax on everything that comes into Canada.  The assumption that the Government makes at the border is that we are purchasing anything that crosses the border, even if the product came from here to start with !! Even at $20.00, we have to pay tax on this.

Core return shipping information

All above prices include shipping  for North America wide shipping when ordering directly from an authorized WESTERS GARAGE dealers.** If purchased via a 'group buy' or at a discounted rate, check with your dealer to ensure that freight is included or you may get a freight invoice from the shipper. ***Items are available directly from Westers Garage only, and are not available from Westers Garage dealers.

Reburns are subject to a $45.00 shipping charge as of November 01/2003.

**IF you have not returned a core PCM, and our records indicate you haven't--you no longer get updated (and you probably bought a core) ! If your core is not returned after 60 days, you cannot return it for credit--you own it. When you've paid for your core (non-return or wish to own), you must return the performance PCM as a core when a reburn is done. If your core is shipped and received damaged--we'll take a picture of it, email it to you...it will be returned... we do not  accept damaged cores. Damaged cores are considered to be in the following condition: Physical pin damage, connector damage or crushed to where the connectors can no longer provide a weather seal, or non-communicating (not able to reprogram).  If the core did not come from your truck, it will be tagged, your name on it, arrival date and checked to determine functionality. We do not accept damaged cores (whether internal or external). It is in your best interest to ensure the returned core comes from your truck to avoid core charges.

There are no refunds on 'custom performance chips or *custom PCM/ECM's (.*When programmed to our specifications--not yours.)   Since we don't copy Protect our PROM or MEMCAL, we can't stop you from copying our program. We CAN stop you from copying the program and returning it for a refund.  If you build something that isn't going to work, we will advise you of the same to avoid future hassles.

Performance chips do NOT solve an existing ignition, electronic sensor, wiring, or mechanical engine problem. GM constantly upgrades their software--your custom PCM will be based on the most current GM software available at the time when required.. Often, our reprogrammed PCM will solve a driveability complaint. Some VIN numbers do not exist in the GM system at this time (2005+), so thanks for being patient. If you want to expedite your 2006 PCM order, ship us your original PCM -- waiting period can be 2 weeks without your factory PCM shipment!
